When I bought my Diana F+ (or clone) last March I decided no accessories. I would only purchase the camera and what was in the box. Period. It’s July and once again my willpower is fading – fast. As you know I’ve added the glass lens and 110mm soft tele. Recently I’ve been eyeing the 38mm super-wide angle lens. I’ve been thinking about some shots inside historic buildings such as the Fisher and Fox and naturally this lens would come in handy for these shoots. The struggle is real.
I keep reading that the Diana doesn’t like bright sunlight and that it does better in overcast conditions. Well this coming Monday the weather forecast says that a thunderstorm is imminent so I’ve decided to head downtown and see what I can see. A while ago I bought this really cool (I think) umbrella hat that’s hands free for New York and didn’t use it; too windy. I am hoping that I can grab my shots before the deluge.
As for this weekend there are a lot of events going on but I think I’d rather spend some time at the beach and look for some shots for my Detroit project.
