I read a quote on the web by John Lennon that said, "you have to be a bastard to make it, and that's a fact..." This made me a little melancholy but then again I read, "don't believe everything you read on the internet just because there's a picture with a quote next to it." - Abraham Lincoln.
I meant it when I said that this year is all about keeping it simple, and I’ll add, doing my own thing. It’s a new millennium, and the old rules clearly no longer apply, although tradition persists. Recently, I asked a lot of my friends what did “security” mean to them. Most of their replies were unexpected. I believe in tradition, but I also embrace freedom, and I completely resent judgement because it usually comes from the least qualified to do so.
I say strip and bare it all – creatively; but if you’re going to do it literally, and you live in Michigan, wait until it’s at least 70 degrees.
