This came into sharp focus when I went to Georgia last year. I did my homework for the trip but nothing prepared me for the actual shoot. What was supposed to be a quiet little trip with my Holga became a journey where I had to use all that I knew to quickly produce good images for a large audience in a short amount of time. I found that panic, stress and humor are also effective motivators.
Somehow questions like these always make me think of the grasshopper questions from the classic TV series Kung Fu or the yoga position, eyes closed with the middle finger and thumb touching. No incense – not a fan.
