Holga in Old Car City USA

I remember this spontaneous trip. I spotted some color images of this special place in color on Twitter now X and I thought IR. The following week I was there shooting in the woods with my Holga and many rolls of Rollei infrared film. I remember when IR images freaked me out. They were other worldly and I felt spooky. Now I love them.

When my photography professor gave us the IR assignment I stuck with it for the entire semester. I remember going out with my Holga and knowing how black a blue sky would read. I have quite a few of these images but here are some of my personal favorites primarily due to either the success of the double exposure or the lighting.
