It's been almost a year and I'm amazed that I've kept my personal goals with regards to photography which were to consistently blog and to shoot film weekly. This weekend I was looking through my files, film not digital, and I've done a substantial amount of work.
On Instagram I follow this account which posts postive artistic quotes and suggestions. One suggesion was to be ok with creating crap. I laughed at that because I think creating crap is part of the process but I did pause and asked myself would I actually post any crap. The answer was a quick no. I would not.
I post my favorite photos I don't post obvious crap because I use my website as a calling card and a portfolio. There are various galleries on my site and people can click on whatever fancies them. Photography like most art is subjective so who knows maybe I am posting crap and don't know it (lol). At any rate I don't give anyone help for rejection.
I'll probably revise this post because It's late to post and there is more to say. Click to view larger; galleries and slide shows are cropped.
Photography is wild and can be so subjective, right? I have my photos I love and my photos I hate. When I show them to others, or post them somewhere, I'm always shocked the love I get for the ones I don't like and vise versa. Thank you for sharing! Congrats on your consistency!
